That's two national championships and a national runner-up in the last six seasons for Vanderbilt baseball. As Kumar Rocker just said of coach Jim Corbin, he's "the GOAT … he's Saban." Saban! Can't wait to hear how Shannon Sharpe responds to THAT.

Was my honor to speak to these impressive young men in February before their season started-have watched them grow all year through adversity & challenges that come w/ the game but tonight @VandyBoys & their INCREDIBLE leader @TimCorbin are NATIONAL CHAMPIONS!! Congrats fellas!

Add a second national championship for @VandyBoys, both in the last six years. Itโs amazing what @TimCorbin has built at Vanderbilt and how consistently good that program has been on his watch, and just as impressive, the first-class manner in which heโs run the program.

Congrats to @vandyboys & @timcorbin on a second national title. Incredible season. Dominant performance tonight. Doing it in what would have been Donny Everettโs senior year makes it even better.

So, we picked @VandyBoys as our Preseason No. 1 club, and I took #Vanderbilt to win the #CWS in my bracket.
Itโs really hard to start No. 1 and seal the deal at the end of the season. #Vandy did just that.

So proud and happy for @VandyBoys .. but, I canโt help but think of Donny Everett and David Williams.. This moment would have been so much better with them here.. #Vandy is a family.. We celebrate together and we mourn together.. Tonight is a reminder of both.. #AnchorDown

Big congrats to @TimCorbin and the @VandyBoys on their second natty.
Corbin is putting together one of the great SEC baseball resumes of all-time. Possibly the greatest head coach in Nashville sports history. (Coach Temp, maybe?)
