Welcoming Seven New Dores

Beth Hewitt announces incoming freshmen

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Vanderbilt lacrosse head coach Beth Hewitt will welcome seven incoming freshmen to the program this fall. The incoming class covers six states from Texas to Massachusetts.

“Our 2022 class of student-athletes is an exciting combination of athleticism and lacrosse IQ,” Hewitt said. “This dynamic group of young women is extremely impressive on the field and in the classroom, but more importantly they impressed our coaching staff in their desire to take Vanderbilt Lacrosse to the next level.

“These student-athletes have already showed resiliency navigating the recruiting world through COVID-19, and all of them did it with such grace. Each of them stood out in terms of their play on the field, but more importantly the character they have showed to rise to the top during challenging times. Our staff is thrilled to welcome this group to campus and cannot wait to get to work developing them into the next generation of Commodores.”
