Commodores continue play at ITA All-American Championship, conclude event at Georgia

TULSA, Okla. — Juan Lopez earned his third victory in two days at the ITA All-American Championship to highlight Vanderbilt men’s tennis action on Sunday.

The fifth-year transfer advanced to the final round of pre-qualifying at the event with a straight-sets win, with Jeremie Casabon also rallying for a victory in three sets in consolation round action.

Four Commodores—Mitchell Deames, Alexandre Hillhouse, Callum Rendle and Paul Wang—wrapped up three days of play at the Southern Intercollegiate hosted by Georgia at the Dan Magill Tennis Complex on Sunday as well.

Nathan Cox and Joubert Klopper will make their debuts at the ITA All-American Championship Monday when qualifying-round action gets underway.
