DENVER (AP) — The Colorado Rockies and first-round draft pick Casey Weathers agreed to terms Monday on a contract that calls for a $1.8 million signing bonus.

The 22-year-old right-hander was 12-2 with a 2.37 ERA and seven saves in 31 relief appearances for Vanderbilt this year. He was the second Vanderbilt player selected among the first eight picks in this year’s draft. Teammate David Price was the first overall pick by Tampa Bay.

Weathers’ deal is pending a physical, the Rockies said.

Colorado also reached agreements with left-handers Kenny Durst and John Rodriguez. The Rockies have deals with 11 of their top 13 selections and 25 of their first 30.
