NASHVILLE, Tenn. – National Top 20 competitor Keilly Ulery signed a letter of intent to play for the Vanderbilt women’s tennis team beginning in the Fall of 2007.
“We are thrilled Keilly has chosen Vanderbilt,” Head Coach Geoff Macdonald said Friday. “She’s one of the premier tennis players in the country and she’s a great student-athlete.”
Ulery, a Florida native, is currently ranked 20th on tennisrecruiting.net, and has been ranked as high as 18th on the charts. Ulery is also the younger sister of current Commodore sophomore Courtney Ulery, who started at No. 4 sinlges as a freshman and posted a 9-1 SEC doubles record with partner Liberty Sveke.
“Courtney and Keilly will be the first sisters I’ve ever had. I’m really looking forward to working with them both,” Macdonald said.
