Team Notes

  • The Commodores started Saben Lee, Payton Willis, Riley LaChance, Jeff Roberson, and Clevon Brown, their 12th starting lineup for the season for Vanderbilt.
  • Texas A&M took the lead at the 16:42 mark in the first half and never trailed after that point. The Aggies led by as many as 24 points in the game.
  • The Aggies converted on 58.8% of their shots from the floor and 65% in the second half. The Commodores shot 45.3% for the game.
  • Vanderbilt made 14 threes in a game for the second consecutive contest, their 13th game this season making 10 or more threes.
  • The Commodores outrebounded the Aggies, 33-32, but Texas A&M outscored Vanderbilt 15-2 in second-chance points.

Individual notes

  • Riley LaChance led Vanderbilt with 23 points on the night, with 20 of those coming in the second half. He has now scored 20 or more points in three consecutive games and seven overall this year. He also made a career-high six threes in the game.
  • Jeff Roberson tallied 21 points, his ninth game with 20 or more points in SEC play and 13th this season. He also tied Saben Lee with the team-lead in rebounds with nine.
  • Lee added 19 points, a career-high nine rebounds, and a career-high nine assists.
