NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Vanderbilt swim team will compete in their first dual meet of the season this Saturday at the University of Kentucky.

The Commodores opened the season two weeks ago in Bowling Green, Kentucky at the Western Kentucky Invitational. Led by Sarah Treichel and Kim Lesnick, the ‘Dores took a fourth place finish at the event.

“We are looking forward to our first dual meet with an SEC team,” Vanderbilt Head Coach Jeremy Organ said. “This is going to be a great experience for the girls. They are having a lot of fun and are gaining more confidence every week.”

Kentucky currently boasts a national swimmer of the week with standout Jenny Bradford. Bradford earned the NCAA honors for the week of November 21 after winning three events at the Nike Cup.

The meet will begin Saturday at noon at the University of Kentucky.
