Director of Athletics David Williams announced the inclusion of nine members in Vanderbilt’s 2015 Hall of Fame class on Tuesday.

The class is comprised of Marina Alex (women’s golf), Cathy Bender (women’s basketball), Jay Cutler (football), Jeff Fosnes (men’s basketball), Charley Horton (football), David Price (baseball), Larry Schmittou (baseball), Aleke Tsoubanos (women’s tennis) and Stella Vaughn (administration).

The nine new members will be inducted at a Hall of Fame Dinner on Friday, January 22 at the Student Life Center. The 2015 class is the sixth in school history since the hall of fame was established in 2008. Including the nine newest members, there are a total of 56 inductees in the Vanderbilt Athletics Hall of Fame.

Williams opened the ceremony with remarks on the selection process before tossing it to Joe Fisher, Voice of the Commodores, who introduced all nine members of the class. Fisher then asked David Price to speak on behalf of the class at the podium.

Also able to attend the press conference were Cathy Bender, Jeff Fosnes, Aleke Tsoubanos and Larry Schmittou.
