This might be Tony Kemp’s best play yet.
That’s saying a lot considering The Man of Steal’s resume in a Vanderbilt uniform, but his effort to rob Georgia’s Curt Powell of a base hit in the eighth inning Sunday is simply phenomenal.

Kemp, a 5-foot-6 second baseman, used his blazing speed to track down Powell’s liner in right field and went airborne to snag the ball over his left shoulder before tumbling to the grass next to outfielder Mike Yastrzemski.
Bulldog faithful at Foley Field gave Kemp a standing ovation, and Georgia’s announcer said it “might be the catch of the year.” Fans jumped on social media and petitioned ESPN to put the highlight on SportsCenter’s Top 10 Plays.
