Vandy routs Rebels, 5-2

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The No. 5 Vanderbilt women’s tennis team earned its fifth top 25 victory Sunday afternoon with a 5-2 win over No. 23 Ole Miss.

With the win, the Commodores improve to 9-4 overall and 4-0 in Southeastern Conference play.

VU began the match clinching the doubles point over the Rebels with victories on courts one and two. No. 20 Astra Sharma and Emily Smith improved to 6-1 on the season with a 6-3 win over No. 33 Arianne Hartono and Anna Vrbenska.
