Vanderbilt vs. Kentucky Postponed 5/14/2005 Vanderbilt Baseball Saturday, May 14, 2005 – 6:30 pm ET VANDERBILT/KENTUCKY BASEBALL GAME POSTPONED The Vanderbilt/Kentucky baseball game scheduled for Saturday (May 14) at 2 pm ET has been postponed until Sunday (May 15) due to thunderstorms in the Lexington area. Vanderbilt and Kentucky will play two seven-inning games Sunday beginning at 1 pm ET. The game was delayed until 3 pm and then 6 pm ET before it was called off and rescheduled for Sunday. Junior lefthander Ryan Mullins will pitch the first game and freshman left-hander David Price will pitch the second game. The Commodores lead the series 1-0 behind Jensen Lewis’s two-hit shutout Friday when Vanderbilt defeated Kentucky 8-0. Vanderbilt will travel to Athens, Ohio, Sunday following the games to take on Ohio University Tuesday and Wednesday. –30– |
