– With Vanderbilt leading 6-1, John Jenkins hit the first three-pointer of the game with 16:50 remaining to keep the three-point streak alive.
– The Commodores opened up the game with an 11-1 run that spanned 3:52 and featured six points by Jeffery Taylor.
Steve Tchiengang was fouled shooting a three with 14:43 remaining and made all of his free throws to record the first bench points for Vanderbilt.
Rod Odom made his second three-point bucket of the half with 11:44 remaining to give Vanderbilt a 27-8 lead.

– With 1:42 remaining, Jordan Smart drained a three-pointer to record the first points of his career and help give Vanderbilt an 82-46 lead.
