Pregame Notes
• Vanderbilt is in its 125th year of organized football.
• The Commodores wore black pants and helmets with white jerseys for the first time this season.
• Vanderbilt won the toss and elected to receive, Old Dominion elected to defend the north end zone.
• Attendance was 28,966.
• Vanderbilt captains for the game were Andrew East, Joe Townsend, Kyle Woestmann and Johnny McCrary.

Team Notes
• Saturday night’s meeting with Old Dominion was the first-ever between the two schools.
• Vanderbilt is now 27-4 all-time vs. current Conference USA members.
• The Commodores’ nine-game November winning streak moved to 10 games with the victory.

Individual Notes
• Johnny McCrary made his second straight start under center for the Commodores, getting the nod at QB.
• Nathan Marcus caught his second career TD pass in as many games on a seven-yard pass from Johnny McCrary on the opening drive of the game.
• Ralph Webb punched his third score of the season into the end zone in the second quarter with a seven-yard run.
• Caleb Scott hauled in a 39-yard catch in the second quarter for the longest catch of his career.
• Steven Scheu caught his second TD of the season on a five-yard pass from Johnny McCrary late in the second quarter.
• With his TD pass to Steven Scheu in the second quarter, Johnny McCrary made it two straight games with at least two TD passes.
• Ralph Webb notched his second career 100-yard game in the first half on a 27-yard romp late in the second quarter.
• Latevious Rayford caught his first career TD to end the first half on a 20-yard pass from Johnny McCrary.
• Johnny McCrary recorded his first career three TD game in the first half making him the first Vandy QB with three TD passes in a game since Chris Nickson in 2008 vs. Kentucky.
• Taurean Ferguson notched his second interception of the season on the opening drive of the second half and the team’s fourth pick of the season.
• With his 12-yard pass to C.J. Duncan on the final play of the third quarter Johnny McCrary passed the 200-yard mark making him the first Vandy QB to pass for 200 yards this season.
• Davis Dudchock’s 50-yard TD catch was his longest catch as a Commodore and first TD as a Dore.
• Johnny McCrary’s fourth TD pass of the night made him the first Commodore since Jay Cutler in 2005 (4 at Florida) to throw four touchdowns in a game.
• Johnny McCrary’s fifth TD pass of the night matched the school record held by Jay Cutler (2005 vs. Kentucky) and Bill Wade (1950 vs. Auburn).
• Ralph Webb rushed for a Vanderbilt freshman single-game record 166 yards on a career-best 31 carries passing Rodney Williams’ record 156 yards in 1998.
• Johnny McCrary finished his career night 20-for-29 for 281 yards and five touchdowns.
• Johnny McCrary’s five touchdowns were to five different receivers with Latevious Rayford, C.J. Duncan, Steven Scheu, Nathan Marcus and Davis Dudchock all catching scores.
• Dallas Rivers rushed for a career-best 73 yards on 17 carries.
• Latevious Rayford posted career marks with five catches and 79 yards.

Offensive Notes
• The Commodores’ opening drive TD was the first of the season and marked the second time this season the team took the opening drive for points (field goal vs. Charleston Southern).
• The Dores’ fourth down conversion for a score in the first quarter was the team’s second fourth down conversion of the season.
• Vanderbilt’s second scoring drive of the night covered 86 yards on a season-best 12 plays and was capped off by Ralph Webb’s seven-yard run.
• The Commodores pushed the team streak to 14 straight red zone trips with points on the team’s second scoring drive of the night.
• Vanderbilt’s 28 points in the first half were the most in the first half this season and the team’s 14-point lead was the largest of the year.
• The Dores’ 28 points are the most in the first half since Sept. 7 last season vs. Austin Peay.
• Vanderbilt dominated time of possession in the first half, owning the ball for 23:32 to Old Dominion’s 6:28 and running 46 plays to the Monarchs’ 20.
• The Commodores completed passes to eight different receivers on Saturday night, marking the seventh time this season the Dores have completed passes to at least seven receivers.
• The offense racked up a season-high 524 yards and the most since the win vs. UAB last season (540 yards).
• The 243 rushing yards was a season-best and the most for the Dores since running for 410 yards against Presbyterian in 2012.
• The team’s 33 first downs are the most for the Commodores since 2009 against Western Carolina.
• The Dores’ 42 points were the most since the victory over Houston in the BBVA Compass Bowl in January.
• Johnny McCrary’s five touchdowns were to five different receivers with Latevious Rayford, C.J. Duncan, Steven Scheu, Nathan Marcus and Davis Dudchock all catching scores.
• McCrary’s completions to eight different receivers marked the seventh time this season the Dores’ have had at least seven players catch a pass in a game.

Defensive Notes
• Vanderbilt held Old Dominion to just 18 yards rushing in the first half and just 20 total plays.
• The defense held ODU to 45 yards rushing marking the second time this season to hold an opponent under 100 yards rushing (UMass).
• The Monarchs were allowed only 48 total plays on the night and just 14:43 of possession by the VU defense.
• The defense held ODU to 2-for-7 on third down and 0-for-2 on fourth down.

Special Teams Notes
• The Commodores punted only two times in the game.
