Starting Lineup
– Vanderbilt started sophomore John Jenkins, as well as juniors Jeffery Taylor and Brad Tinsley at guard…red-shirt juniors Festus Ezeli and Andre Walker started at center and guard, respectively…this is the third time Vanderbilt has used this starting lineup and the second time this season.
Jeffery Taylor leads the team with 66 career starts…Brad Tinsley is making his 57th career start while Andre Walker is starting for the 34th time…Festus Ezeli is appearing in his 62nd game, including his 13th start…John Jenkins has made nine starts and played in 33 games.

Postgame Notes:
– Vanderbilt held their second straight opponent to under 50 points in the 2010-11 season. The Commodores have held their two opponents this year to a 46.5 ppg average.
– The Commodores now own a 5-2 series advantage over Nebraska.
– In neutral site, preseason tournament games since 2006, Vanderbilt has a 9-2 record (loss to Appalachian State in the finals of 2006 San Juan Shootout, first-round loss to Cincinnati in 2009 EA Sports Maui Invitational).
– Vanderbilt has now made a three-pointer in 764 consecutive games, a streak that began in 1986, the first year of the three-point line.

Player notes:
John Jenkins notched his third career 20-point game with his 22-point effort against the Cornhuskers.
Jeffery Taylor scored in double-figures with 14 points, and was two-for-two from beyond-the-arc. For the season, Taylor is now 5-for-6 from three. In 2009-10, he was 1-for-11 from three, and in his freshman campaign, he made 9-of-41.
– Taylor also added three assists, a block, and a steal.
Steve Tchiengang tied a career-best with eight rebounds, and set a new career high with four blocked shots. Tchiengang also hit a huge three-point basket with 2:24 to go in the game to push Vanderbilt’s lead to six (54-48).
Brad Tinsley scored seven points, dished out five assists, and two steals. He now has 15 assists in two games in 2010-11.
