Individual Notes:
- After missing the Bucknell game with a sprained ankle, John Jenkins poured in 28 points in the win over North Carolina State. Jenkins was 10-16 from the floor and 4-9 from three. It was a season high point total for Jenkins, and the most for him since scoring 29 points against Mississippi State on March 11, 2011 at the SEC Tournament.
- Jenkins’ 10 field goals made is the highest for a Commodores since he made 10 field goals against Mississippi State at the SEC Tournament.
- Jeffery Taylor scored 17 points – VU moves to 19-3 since 2010-11 season when he scores 15 points or more. Taylor also added eight rebounds.
- Taylor also had a team-best and season-high five assists.
- Steve Tchiengang grabbed a career-high 11 rebounds.
- Goulbourne’s 15 points is a season-best so far in 2011-12.
- Brad Tinsley also added 14 points, his third double-digit scoring game of the season and 49th for his career.
