Vanderbilt Launches Black and Gold Club Network

Initiative to connect current and former Commodores

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Vanderbilt Athletics announced today the launch of the Black and Gold Club Network, a new digital platform to help connect current and former Commodores across the country and around the world.

This latest initiative builds on the launch of the Black and Gold Club in 2020, which was developed to create unique engagement opportunities for former student-athletes, student-managers, student-training staff and spirit squad members.

The Black and Gold Club Network is designed as a virtual extension of that group, serving as a hub for alumni information, including exclusive activities and ticketing opportunities. It will also include an exclusive job board and other career development tools for current and former Commodores.

“One of the hallmarks of our student-athlete experience is that once you’re here, you are Vanderbilt for life,” said Candice Lee, vice chancellor for athletics and university affairs and athletic director. “The Black and Gold Club Network helps strengthen the bonds between Commodores and paves the way for future generations of champions to succeed.”

The Black and Gold Club Network will also help foster new connections among Commodores of different ages and multiple athletic affiliations, allowing Vanderbilt to reach a greater number of current and former athletics alumni.

The Black and Gold Club Network is a customized digital platform powered by Athlete Network.
