Opened the week with back-to-back two-hit games vs. Quinnipiac, smashing his third home run of the season in Tuesday’s win and matching his career-best with three runs in Wednesday’s win.
Finished a double shy of the cycle on Saturday in SEC opening win over Arkansas, belting a two-run home run in the first inning and ending the game with a walk-off triple in the 12th inning.
Followed up with three more hits and two RBI to help Vanderbilt finish doubleheader sweep of Arkansas on Saturday, extended his hitting streak to 13 games and his fifth straight multi-hit game.

Tossed six scoreless innings in his first career start on Tuesday vs. Quinnipiac, scattering three hits and striking out three to earn the win.
Made his second start of the week and first SEC appearance on Sunday with seven more scoreless innings vs. Arkansas as the Commodores completed the series sweep.
His seven innings on Sunday were a career-high as the right-hander allowed only two hits with four strikeouts, allowed only three Razorbacks to reach scoring position.

Vanderbilt posted its second 5-0 week of the season taking a two-game series vs. Quinnipiac during the week and opening Southeastern Conference play with a series sweep against Arkansas… Jordan Sheffield dominated over six innings in Tuesday’s 9-2 win over Quinnipiac… Sheffield tossed six scoreless innings in his first career start for the win… Rhett Wiseman belted his third home run of the season and Bryan Reynolds drove in two runs in the win… The Commodores shut out Quinnipiac 8-0 on Wednesday with Ryan Johnson picking up the win with five perfect innings… Johnson struck out a career-best nine to pick up his first career win… Dansby Swanson collected three hits and scored three runs with two RBI, including a two-run homer… The Commodores rallied for four runs in the ninth to force extra innings before Rhett Wiseman’s walk-off triple in the 12th inning beat Arkansas 8-7 in the SEC opener on Saturday in the first game of a doubleheader… Wiseman finished a double shy of the cycle, hitting his team-best fourth home run of the season in the first inning… Ben Bowden picked up the win with three scoreless innings, striking out six… Carson Fulmer allowed a career-high five runs on five hits with seven strikeouts over six innings… Walker Buehler dominated over six strong innings in the nightcap as the Dores cruised to a 9-1 win over Arkansas to finish the double dip sweep… Buehler scattered four hits and struck out seven to earn his first win of the season… John Kilichowski worked the final three innings for his first career save… Wiseman capped a big day with three more hits to finish Saturday 6-for-9 and five RBI to push his hitting streak to 13 games… Vandy finished off the series sweep of Arkansas in dramatic fashion with the team’s second walk-off win of the weekend in the ninth inning with a 1-0 victory… Dansby Swanson played the hero with a bases loaded single up the middle to score the game’s only run and give VU their fifth walk-off win of the season… Philip Pfeifer picked up the win with two scoreless innings out of the pen… Jordan Sheffield tossed a career-best with seven scoreless innings in a no decision… The Commodores wrap up a six-game home stand on Tuesday against Tennessee Tech on the SEC Network+ at 6:30 p.m. before traveling to Auburn for the team’s first road SEC series this weekend… Friday night’s series opener on The Plains is set for 6 p.m. on SEC Network+, Saturday’s game will air on ESPNU at 7 p.m. and Sunday’s finale is set for 1 p.m. on SEC Network+.
