– Set a new career high with seven strikeouts and six innings pitched vs. Davidson
– Secured his second win of the season and has struck out five-plus in all three starts

Commodore Notes 
Top-ranked Vanderbilt won four-of-five games, running its streak to seven consecutive wins before dropping its series finale against Illinois State … The club continued its torrid offensive pace, batting .350 while scoring 57 runs on the week … Commodore pitching carded a 3.60 ERA and limited its opponents to a .215 average while the squad committed just one error as part of a .994 fielding percentage … Vanderbilt left little to doubt, scoring in each of the first three frames including a season-high 13 runs in the third inning as part of a dominant 24-2 victory against Davidson on Tuesday afternoon …Vandy’s 24 runs were its most since 1991 when the Commodores put up as many against Valparaiso … The Dores batted around twice in the third inning and was helped by two errors while Pat DeMarco (2-for-3) tagged a grand slam as part of a career-high seven-RBI day … Vandy continued its offensive surge behind a 12-4 drubbing of East Tennessee State on Wednesday … The Commodores jumped out to a quick lead with nine combined runs through the first four innings … Vandy scored in every inning except for the third and eighth as four different Commodores posted multi-hit performances … Walker Grisanti led the way for the Dores with a career day at the plate.
