2007 Baseball Promotional Schedule
The No. 1 ranked Vanderbilt baseball team will have a few new promotions added to its already fun-filled environment.
Beginning Friday, March 16th and continuing every Friday throughout the regular season will be a postgame fireworks show. While Vanderbilt has had a fireworks display in the past, a regular “Fireworks Friday” promotion has never been done.
Saturday’s will feature the debut of Vandyville at baseball. Vandyville, the popular tailgating pregame party for football, will include tailgating tents, inflatable games, and kids activities on Jess Neely Drive. The road will close 3 hours prior to the first pitch and the event is free to everyone, however, tent rentals are exclusive to season ticket holders, National Commodore Club members, and Bullpen Club members. “I think these additions are indicative of the continued elevation of our baseball program,” said Eric Nichols, Director of Marketing. “Coach Corbin and his team have played themselves to the top of the college baseball landscape and deserve to have every seat taken for every game on the schedule.”
