Nashville, Tenn. – Top-ranked Vanderbilt’s home series vs. Illinois-Chicago this weekend has been canceled and the Commodores will now travel to Port Charlotte, Fla. to take on Indiana State.
Vanderbilt and Indiana State will play a three-game series starting Friday at the Tampa Bay Rays’ spring training facility in Port Charlotte, Fla. The series will begin Friday afternoon with game times on Saturday and Sunday set for noon CT. The two teams played last season with the Commodores winning 6-2.
Fans that purchased tickets for the home series vs. UIC will be able to transfer the unused tickets for any of Vanderbilt’s remaining regular season nonconference home games this season. For fans wishing to exchange tickets, please call the Vanderbilt ticket office at 615.322.4653. The ticket office is scheduled to open today at 10 a.m. due to inclement weather.
Vanderbilt baseball season ticket holders can bring their unused tickets from the UIC series to the ticket office to exchange them for an additional outfield ticket(s) to a non-SEC midweek game based on availability. The original season ticket holder must be present to exchange the unused ticket and must be done at least one day prior to the game being played. The ticket office cannot exchange unused UIC series tickets on the day of any game.
