  • Winners of two in a row, the Vanderbilt soccer team looks ahead to a road game Thursday at Kentucky and a home showdown Sunday versus Arkansas in a rematch of last season’s SEC Tournament championship game.

Last Time Out 

  • Vanderbilt earned a 5-0 win over Missouri in the the last game action for the Dores. 
  • Five different Commodores scored goals on the day. 
  • Amber Nguyen, Maddie Elwell and Alex Kerr all secured a goal and an assist against Missouri. 

Series Information 

  • Vandy is 18-15-2 against Kentucky in the all-time series. 
  • Last season, Vanderbilt trailed Kentucky by a 2-0 score in the first half before storming back for a 3-2 home win over the Wildcats in the season opener. 
  • The Commodores are 20-13-2 in the all-time series versus Arkansas. 
  • The Dores and Razorbacks met in last season’s SEC Tournament championship game with Vandy earning a 3-1 victory. After yielding a goal in the opening minute, Vanderbilt responded with goals from Kimya Raietparvar, Raegan Kelley and Abi Brighton to win the program’s first tournament championship since 1994. 
  • Arkansas was ranked sixth in the nation at the time.
