NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Game 3 of Vanderbilt baseball’s annual Black and Gold Series scheduled for Tuesday has been canceled.
Due to the cancellation, the Black and Gold series will end in a draw. Black claimed the opening game on Friday evening with a 7-0 shutout victory before Gold responded with a 6-3 win in Game 2 on Sunday afternoon to even the series at one apiece.
With the conclusion of the fall training window, the Commodores will now shift their focus to the spring. Vanderbilt is set to open the 2022 season on Feb. 18, welcoming Oklahoma State to Hawkins Field.
