NASHVILLE, Tenn. — The No. 37 Vanderbilt women’s tennis team fell to No. 13 Auburn in a close 5-2 match.
The Dores battled hard in doubles, but, ultimately, the Tigers were able to claim the advantage.
In singles, No. 48 Celia-Belle Mohr took down No. 32 Carolyn Ansari in two sets on Court 1 to put the Dores on the board. The Tigers added to their score with victories on Court 5 and Court 3. No. 82 Bridget Stammel fought hard on Court 2 but fell to No. 50 Ariana Arseneault in three sets. Anessa Lee forced a third set and won on Court 4 to add to Vandy’s team score. Auburn added to its team score with a three-set win on Court 6.
