The No. 16 LSU Tigers downed the No. 40 Vanderbilt men’s tennis team, 4-0 on Sunday in Baton Rouge.
The Tigers claimed the doubles point with wins at Nos. 1 and 2. The match at the third position was suspended with the Commodores holding a 6-5 advantage.
In the singles draw, LSU claimed the match with three consecutive wins at the second, third, and fourth positions.
The loss drops the Dores to 9-7, 1-5 SEC, while LSU improves to 13-6, 1-5 SEC.
VU freshman Ryan Preston was leading his match, 3-1 in third frame before it was suspended.
