Is it harder to score a goal on a penalty kick or on a one-on-one breakaway?
On a breakaway because if you are coming at a goalie, she can cut off your angles. On a penalty kick you have the whole goal to to work with.

What is your favorite off-day activity?
I like to do crafts. I don’t get to do it as often as I’d like to in season, but I like to color. Sometimes I will bring my markers with me on road trips. I just have a good time doing crafts.

When did you begin playing soccer, and how did you get into it?
I was four when I started playing soccer. My dad always played, so he kind of got me involved. He was my coach my whole life when I was younger.

Once you finish playing soccer at Vanderbilt, what do you want to do next?
I’d really like to get into doing some missionary work outside of the country. I’d also like to get my master’s degree in elementary education, but that might not happen right away.
