NASHVILLE, Tenn. — The Vanderbilt football team opened fall camp for the 2023 season on Wednesday, kickstarting the third season under head coach Clark Lea.

The Commodores practiced for roughly 90 minutes during a humid, overcast day on campus. Vandy will open camp with four days of practice before the first scheduled off day on Sunday. Aug. 1 will mark the first session in full pads as the Dores prepare for the Aug. 26 season opener with Hawai’i. The Rainbow Warriors visit FirstBank Stadium at 6:30 p.m. for the first Southeastern Conference football game of 2023.
Following today’s first practice, head coach Clark Lea met with the media followed by defensive lineman Nate Clifton and offensive lineman Bradley Ashmore.
