Team Records and Series Notes:
– Vanderbilt improves to 34-13 and 14-9 in Southeastern Conference play, while Tennessee falls to 25-23 and 11-13 in conference action.
– Tennessee now leads the overall series 162-139-2. However, the Commodores have won six straight regular season meetings between the two squads, sweeping the last two series.
– The sweep by Vanderbilt in Knoxville is the first for the Commodores since the SEC went to three-game series in 1986.
– The Commodore offense exploded over the weekend, scoring 27 runs on 42 hits. The defense was solid throughout the weekend, not allowing an error.
– Vanderbilt returns to action on Tuesday as it travels to Pringles Park in Jackson, Tenn., for a midweek matchup with Memphis. First pitch is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. (CT) and the game can be heard on the Vanderbilt/ISP Sports Network with Joe Fisher.

Vanderbilt Individual Notes:
– Dominic de la Osa finished the day 2-for-5, becoming the all-time hits leader in Vanderbilt history. De la Osa now has 284 hits in his Vanderbilt career. He also became the all-time doubles leader in Vanderbilt history with 62 doubles.
– Shea Robin belted his second and third home runs of the season. It is the first time that Robin has had more than one home run in a game.
– Pedro Alvarez finished the day with three hits, recording his seventh multi-hit game of the season. Alvarez scored two runs and had one RBI.
– Ryan Flaherty added two hits for the Commodores, scored a run and drove in a run.
– Brad French drove in two runs, including an RBI triple. French also scored a run.
– Chase Reid picked up his fourth victory of the season, allowing two runs on three hits while striking out three.
– Brett Jacobson picked up his second save of the weekend and fourth of the season, pitching the final inning, allowing one hit and striking out one.
