Purchase 2010 Vanderbilt Football Season Tickets
Football season ticket sales jumped 18% from July 14, the day Robbie Caldwell was named head coach, to close of business August 13 over the identical period of time last year. The surge pushed total season ticket sales over the 15,000 mark and also ahead of the 2009 sales pace by 1% after having been slightly behind prior to mid-July.
“We are pleased that football fans have responded so well,” says Director of Sales and Marketing Steve Walsh. “To be ahead of pace with the continued sluggish economy while a number of other programs are running behind their sales expectations says a lot about the popularity of Coach Caldwell and the loyalty of our fans.”
Commodore fans snapped up 2,256 season tickets during the month after Caldwell was appointed, 350 more than in 2009. Vanderbilt opens its season Sept. 4 by hosting Northwestern.
