Sarah Jacobs has joined the Vanderbilt women[apos]s golf program this season as a volunteer assistant coach.

A former Commodore great, Jacobs was named a NGCA All-American and a First Team All-SEC selection in 2004. As a senior, Jacobs tied for sixth at the NCAA Championship while helping the Commodores to the SEC Championship and a fifth place finish at the NCAA Championship.

Professionally, Jacobs ranked among the top 80 moneywinners on the Futures Tour in 2005. She posted her first career Top 10 finish at the 2006 Lakeland Futures Classic.

Jacobs earned her bachelor[apos]s degree in child development from Vanderbilt in 2004.
