Krysten Nemecek Call is in her fourth season as the assistant swimming coach and recruiting coordinator for Vanderbilt.

She helped the Commodores sign a pair of student-athlets to join the program in 2012 in Hannah Martin (No. 83 nationally on CollegeSwimming.org) and Jennifer Mann (top-10 breaststroke specialist in Canada).

Nemecek Call played a big hand in bringing in one of Vanderbilt[apos]s best recruiting classes in the history of the program in 2009, by signing seven new swimmers and one walk-on to the Commodore program. Nemecek Call picked up right where she left off in 2010 by bringing in another highly touted recruiting class, including ten freshmen.

Before coming to Vanderbilt, Nemecek Call spent three years as the head swim team coach for the Serenata Beach Club in Ponte Vedra, Fla. She was responsible for developing the swimmers based on their seperate skill levels.

Outside of the pool, Nemecek Call excelled in the classroom. In May `08, Nemecek graduated with Magna Cum Laude honors in Health Administration from University of North Florida. En route to attaining her degree, she was named to the Atlantic Sun Conference All-Academic team four times.

As a senior at North Florida, Nemecek Call posted five first-place finishes and 21 top-three finishes.
