John Michael Morris

John Michael Morris joined Vanderbilt’s baseball program at the beginning of 2023 as the Commodores’ Director of Recruiting. A native Nashvillian, John Michael has followed the program very closely for a number of years, attending prospects camp as a high school player himself, then later as a camp coach.

Before joining Coach Corbin’s staff, Morris spent two years at Sports Info Solutions in Pennsylvania as an MLB Video Scout. Prior to that, he had served as an assistant coach for both Davidson Academy (middle school) and the Middle Tennessee Monarchs (high school).

Morris graduated from Middle Tennessee State in 2011.
