Jessica Earnest
Director • Human Resources Operations (Athletics and Recreation)
Jessica Earnest is currently director of human resources operations for athletics and recreation at Vanderbilt.
A four-year letterwinner for the Commodore bowling team, she helped Vandy to runner-up finishes at the NCAA Championships in both 2011 and ’13. Earnest was a second-team All-American selection each of her first three seasons with the program before earning first-team accolades as a senior, and she was also named the NCAA Freshman of the Year in 2010. A three-time member of Junior Team USA, she garnered all-tournament honors on nine occasions during her collegiate career.
Earnest received her degree from Vanderbilt in women’s and gender studies before adding a master’s degree in organizational leadership from Trevecca Nazarene. She resides in Nashville with her husband, Ethan, and their three dogs, and in her free time Earnest enjoys bowling, doing yoga, and spending time with her niece.
