2008-10:Cristin Czubik is in her fourth season as an assistant coach with the Vanderbilt soccer program.
Czubik earned accolades for her performance on the field and in the classroom at nearby Belmont University, prior to her arrival at Vanderbilt. Before becoming a full-time Commodore staff member, Czubik served as a volunteer assistant during spring practice and coached Vanderbilt Summer Camps. She also has sideline experience from her stint as assistant coach at Goucher College in Baltimore, Md., and with various club teams.
Czubik turned to coaching after a stellar soccer career at Belmont. In four seasons she played in 76 games and totaled a school-record 75 career points. Her 31 career assists is also a Bruins[apos] record.
During her junior season in 2000, Czubik was named to the All-Missouri Valley Conference First Team as well as the Academic All-Missouri Valley Conference Team and followed up with All Atlantic Sun-Conference athletic and academic honors, following Belmont[apos]s conference jump. During her senior year, Czubik was also named to the Academic All-District IV Team.
Czubik is very active in the community soccer scene. She has coached girls[apos] soccer teams in Brentwood, Tennessee.
An Ohio native, Czubik graduated with an English degree from Belmont University.
