Spring Game Saturday

Admission is free for the scrimmage starting at 1 p.m. at FirstBank Stadium

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Fans can get their first look at the 2025 Vanderbilt football team Saturday at the Black and Gold Spring Game. The scrimmage begins at 1 p.m. at FirstBank Stadium.

Tickets and parking are free of charge, but fans are asked to claim a ticket in advance. The game will air live on 102.5 The Game in Nashville and the Vanderbilt Athletics app. There is no television broadcast.

Clark Lea, the E. Bronson Ingram Chair in Football, enters his fifth season at the helm of his alma mater. The 2024 SEC Coach of the Year led the Commodores to a winning season and bowl victory for the first time in over a decade last fall. Vanderbilt returns the 2024 SEC Newcomer of the Year, quarterback Diego Pavia, as well as first-team All-SEC tight end Eli Stowers and the team’s three leading tacklers in Bryan Longwell, Langston Patterson and Randon Fontenette.

Free parking for the spring game is available in the 25th Avenue Garage or the “Flat Lots” between Natchez Trace and Vanderbilt Place.

The Max Nance Kids’ Zone will open at 11 a.m. on the practice fields off Natchez Trace, behind the McGugin Center. Star Walk will take place through the Kids’ Zone at 12:25 p.m.

Gates open at noon, with admission available through Gate 1 (near the Marriott), Gate 3 (near home plate of Hawkins Field) and Gate 4 (near Memorial Gym and Kensington Garage). The Frist Family Gate (Gate 2) at the corner of Jess Neely Drive and Natchez Trace remains closed due to ongoing Vandy United construction.

Seating is general admission in the main bowl of FirstBank Stadium. Fans are encouraged to sit in Sections C-E and R-T. Concessions will be available on both concourses, including Daddy’s Dogs (east), Five Points Pizza (west) and Ice Crown (east and west).

Following the game, members of the team will be available for autographs on the field for approximately 30 minutes.

The scrimmage marks the conclusion of spring practice. The 2025 season opens on Aug. 30 when Charleston Southern travels to FirstBank Stadium. Season tickets are on sale now and limited premium seating remains in the new south end zone facility.
