Mac Rose Pronunciation

Head coach Tim Corbin on Rose: “We were fortunate to pick up Mac at the end of the summer. I really like his toughness and his abilities behind the plate. Mac has a good approach at the plate and can drive the baseball to all sides of the field. He comes from a baseball family and has great teammate skills that compliment our group. Mac is also a great student in the classroom.”

As a Sophomore (2025)
• Homered vs. Indiana State (April 29)
• 2-for-5 with three RBI in win at #23 Ole Miss (April 28)
• Reached base safely in 22 consecutive games March 14-April 22
• Drove in three runs in win vs. Dayton (April 8)
• Hit a solo home run in first inning at UCLA (Feb. 28), his first as a Commodore
• Went 2-for-5 in with an RBI in Vandy debut vs. UC Irvine (Feb. 16)

As a Freshman (McClennan CC – 2024)
• Played 55 games with a .354 average, seven home runs and 35 RBI
• Selected to North Texas JCAC Second Team
• Drafted by the Texas Rangers with the 615th overall pick in the 20th round

• Attended Rockwall H.S. in Rockwall, Texas
• Recorded a .396 average with 56 RBI and a 7-3 pitching record with a 2.80 ERA as a senior
• 2023 District MVP, 5/6-A All-Star Game MVP and first-team All-State catcher
• Second-team All-State catcher in 2022 and first-team All-District pitcher in both 2021 and 2022
• Helped team to district titles in 2021 and 2023 and region finals in 2021 and 2022
• Also lettered two seasons in football
