Head coach Tim Corbin on Carter: “One of the better stories of improvement that we have seen here…and it’s only beginning. He’s an animal. He has changed his body, delivery, command of the strike zone and mental attack, as much as anyone that we have had in our program. He has developed a belief system in himself and learned how to compete with a controlled aggression. For the second year in a row, he won the Omaha Challenge for the pitchers. His work habits extend to the classroom as he had another great semester academically. Good teammate who has elevated his leadership skills as well.”
