2016 – Started his third straight game allowing three runs on five hits with three strikeouts over three innings in no decision at LSU 4/9… Struck out a season-best seven in his second straight start vs. South Carolina 4/2 allowing a career-high four runs on two hits with three walks… Made his second career start giving up two runs on two hits and a career-high five walks over 3.2 innings at Missouri 3/27… Took the loss vs. Mississippi State 3/19 after surrendering lead in eighth inning allowing one run on two hits with three strikeouts over 1.2 innings… Recorded his third save recording the final five outs vs. Xavier 3/13 striking out two… Tossed a scoreless ninth inning in win at Stanford 3/6 to notch second save in as many games… Nailed down his first save of the season with two perfect innings in second game at Stanford 3/3 striking out two… Worked two no-hit innings of relief vs. UIC 2/27… Struck out two in a perfect inning of relief against EIU 2/24… Made his first appearance since having elbow surgery last year, tossing an inning vs. San Diego 2/21 allowing one run on two with a walk and strikeout.

2014 – Earned the win in national championship clinching victory over Virginia 6/25 with 1.2 scoreless innings of relief with four strikeouts… Turned in 5.2 stellar innings of relief to earn win over Texas 6/21 and advance to CWS Finals, stranded the bases loaded on one pitch getting a double play to end the inning, gave up one run on three hits with eight strikeouts in third win of the year… Allowed one run on two hits over 1.1 innings in College World Series win vs. Louisville 6/14… Punched out eight over a career-best six strong innings of relief to punch team’s ticket to Omaha with win over Stanford 6/8 in Super Regional…. HIGH SCHOOL – Set the career wins (26) and strikeout (350) records at Columbia Central HS… Named the 2013 TSSAA AAA Player of the Year… Tabbed a first team All-State pitcher by Tennessee Sports Writers Association in 2011… Team won back-to-back district, regional and sectional championships 2010-11… Finished as a state runner-up in 2011 and played in the state tournament in 2010.
