2013 – An electric arm out of the Commodores[apos] bullpen, Ravenelle pitched in 11 games as a sophomore… Tossed two scoreless innings of relief against Georgia Tech 6/2 in NCAA Tournament… Pitched the Dores out of a tough spot, inheriting the bases loaded and getting out of the jam vs. LSU 5/26 at SEC Tournament tossing 2.1 scoreless innings with one walk… Touched up for three runs on one hit and two walks in 1.1 innings vs. Alabama 5/16… Turned in his third straight scoreless outing with one inning of work against Belmong 5/14… Worked a perfect inning in win over Presbyterian 5/8… Walked one while getting one out in win vs. Mississippi State 4/28… Pitched a career- best three innings allowing two runs, one earned, on three hits with three strikeouts against Tennessee Tech 4/16… Tossed a perfect inning against Missouri 4/12… Allowed one run on three hits in one innings vs. UT-Martin 4/9… Struck out a career-best three in two innings vs. MTSU 4/2 allowing one run on two hits in two innings… Made his season debut with two innings against Florida 3/22 allowing one unearned run in two innings on two hits.

HIGH SCHOOL – 2011 ESPN Boston All-State team, MVP of Dual County League, Boston Herald and Boston Globe All-Scholastic, DCL All-Star 2010-11… Captained the baseball team as a senior… 2011 Massachusetts state champions… DCL champs 2009-11… Drafted in the 44th round by the New York Yankees in the 2011 MLB Draft.

Ravenelle (rav-EN-ell)… Born 10/5/92… Son of Andre and Edie Ravenelle… Has one sister, Andrea… Nickname is Rav… Played summer ball with Vandy teammate Tyler Beede and Vandy recruit Kevin Comer… Favorites include Daniel Bard (baseball player), Boston Red Sox (baseball team), basketball (other sport), Step Brothers (movie), Adam Sandler and Steve Carell (actors), chicken parmesan (meal)… In a movie about his life he would pick teammate Tyler Beede to play him… Balancing spoons on his nose is his oddest talent… Roommates with Jared Miller, Dansby Swanson and Carson Fulmer… Chose Vanderbilt because of best education along with best college baseball.
