2008: Played in four games, getting three at-bats … Hit .297 (2nd highest on team) with five doubles, 17 RBIs and 12 stolen bases in 41 games for Holyoke in the New England Collegiate Baseball League over the summer. Posted the second-highest fielding percentage among position players (.973%).

2007: Redshirted.

High School: A PlayStation All-American as a senior at Lafayette High … Lettered in baseball and also played the tuba where he was a finalist for the National Falcone Tuba Competition … Earned all-state, All-Acadiana and all-district plaudits as a senior … Earned all-district honors in 2005 and helped lead team to state tournament … Member of the National Honor Society.
