2006: Started the season by not allowing a run in 18 innings … Finished the year with 1-1 ledger and team best 2.56 ERA in 31.2 innings … Made 16 appearances, 15 in relief … Had a 0.00 ERA in five appearances (4.2 innings) in SEC regular season play … Gave up a run on two hits in an inning of work against Ole Miss (5/28) in the SEC championship game … Gave up a run on three hits in 1.2 innings against Middle Tennessee (5/16) … Gave up two runs on two hits in two innings of relief vs. Lipscomb (5/10) … Made two relief appearances in the Kentucky series, recording one out and not allowing a run … Gave up two unearned runs on two hits in 2.1 innings in second game of doubleheader against Alabama (4/22) … Allowed three runs, two earned in an inning of relief against Middle Tennessee (4/18) … Recorded an out against Georgia (4/16) … Gave up a run on one hit against Lipscomb (4/12) … Picked up the win with two scoreless innings against Austin Peay (4/5) … Did not allow a run in 1.2 innings against Florida (4/1) … Started and took the loss against Western Kentucky (3/28). 2005: Saw limited action with three innings of work in four games … Struck out three batters while allowing five hits and three earned runs … First collegiate outing was an inning of one-hit scoreless relief work against Lipscomb (3/2) … Helped lead Stark County Terriers (Great Lakes League) to league tournament championship … Went 7-2 with a 2.08 ERA and had 53 strikeouts in 56.1 innings … Was a Great Lakes League All-Star and first team all-league.

2004: Redshirted.

High School: A four-year letterwinner and three-year starter for coach Doug Banks at Clearwater HS…Went 6-4 with a 2.64 ERA, 89 strikeouts in 67 innings pitched… Named Team MVP as a senior… Earned honorable mention All-State and honorable mention All-Suncoast accolades as a senior…Helped lead the Tornadoes to a 19-14 record and the 2001 4A District 3 Championship and the Florida State semifinals – their first appearance in six years…In 2002, Clearwater went 15-14 and reached the Regional semifinals.
