Soccer Adds to Staff

Ashley Horsley joins the program as executive director of business operations and logistics

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Vanderbilt soccer head coach Darren Ambrose announced on Friday the addition of Ashley Horsley as the team’s executive director of business operations and logistics.

“We are thrilled to have someone of Ashley’s background and pedigree in our program,” Ambrose stated. “She brings a wealth of experience running a variety of businesses, she’s spent time in the front office of a professional soccer team and has invested herself in various communities wherever she has been. She has a natural ability to connect with people and will be a positive mentor and influence for our young women.”

Horsley returns to her home city after spending two years with Sacramento Republic FC as the executive vice president of business operations. Some of her responsibilities included managing budgets, recruiting, training and overseeing support staff, and helping align departmental processes and systems to optimize resource utilization.

“I’m excited to start a new chapter with Vanderbilt’s soccer program and eager to work alongside a great group of coaches and student-athletes,” said Horsley. “I am confident with my experience, passion and skillset that I will be able to contribute to the high standard of excellence that Vanderbilt soccer has and the overall success of the athletic department.”

Prior to her stint in Sacramento, Horsley was the president of Key Data Dashboard in Tennessee, where she formulated and communicated strategic directions to stakeholders, and helped drive growth and profitability while overseeing all financial performance reports.

Horsley and her husband Jordan have five kids and reside in Nolensville, Tennessee.
