NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Vanderbilt men’s tennis continues its spring season at home on Sunday, hosting Tennessee Tech at 11:30 a.m. and Alabama A&M at 4:30 p.m.
The Dores will be looking to continue their winning streak, having won both games on Wednesday against East Tennessee State and Tennessee State.
Tennessee Tech
In their season opener on Jan. 13, Tennessee Tech (0-1) fell to No. 6 Tennessee, with the Vols posting a 7-0 record over the Golden Eagles. During the 2022–23 spring season, Tennessee Tech went 9-14 overall.
Alabama A&M
Sunday’s game will be the first of the season for Alabama A&M; they last competed in November at the North Alabama Invitational. The Dores topped the Bulldogs 1-0 last season in March, recording a 7-0 score for the matchup. A&M was scheduled to compete against Auburn on Saturday, Jan. 20, but the match was postponed due to an illness within the Tigers program.
Home Match Notes
Sunday’s matches will be played at Brownlee O. Currey Jr. Tennis Pavilion at the Lummis Family Tennis Center, and admission is free. Free parking is available in the 25th Avenue Garage through the Highland Avenue entrance. For matches that begin before 5 p.m. on weekdays, spectators may park in any nonreserved space on floors nine through 11, and up to one hour before the start of the match. For evening and weekend matches, spectators may park in any nonreserved space using the Highland Avenue entrance. Vanderbilt tennis matches will enforce a clear bag policy.
