Schedule Shifted

Baseball shifts schedule after being impacted by inclement weather

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – After postponing Friday’s series opener due to inclement weather in the Nashville area, Vanderbilt and Wright State will now tentatively plan to open the season on Sunday afternoon at Hawkins Field.

Game times for the series will be determined after evaluating field conditions. The series is currently scheduled to conclude on Monday.

Tuesday’s midweek matchup between Vanderbilt and Western Kentucky has been pushed back to Wednesday, set for a 4:30 p.m. start.

Following the contest with the Hilltoppers, the Commodores are set to face Georgia State next weekend for a four-game set. The two teams will now conclude the series with a doubleheader on Sunday beginning at noon, instead of the originally scheduled doubleheader on Saturday.

All eight contests will be streamed on SEC Network+ and can be heard on WNSR 560 AM/95.9 FM.
