Saw action as defensive end for much of the season, platooning with Teriall Brannon behind starters Tim Fugger, Broderick Stewart and Steven Stone… Left team briefly during midseason, missing losses at Army and Georgia… Concluded year with single-season high in total tackles (24) and solo tackles (14)… Ranked second on team with three quarterback sacks… Posted pair of sacks during 5-tackle effort in victory over Rice… Also contributed sack in win over Western Carolina… Set single-game career high with six tackles against Mississippi State.
2008
Played in 11 games while enjoying most action of his career… Earned a starting role at defensive end replacing injured Broderick Stewart in the finale at Wake Forest… Also played sparingly in Music City Bowl victory over Boston College despite painful ankle injury… Served as primary reserve to starters Stewart and Steven Stone for much of the season… Missed the Duke and Kentucky games… Ended season with 19 total tackles, including six solo stops… Closed season impressively, contributing five total tackles against Tennessee and four tackles at Wake Forest… Posted four total tackles in Commodores[apos] victory over Auburn.
2007
One of three true freshmen to play for the Commodores, Kadri spelled starter DE Curtis Gatewood on defense… Saw action in 11 of 12 games, only missing the Alabama contest… Finished year with six total tackles, including five solo stops… Credited with two tackles in victory over Eastern Michigan… Also produced a tackle and effective minutes in team[apos]s win at South Carolina.
HIGH SCHOOL
Senior defensive captain… Worked his way into starting defensive end role late in junior season… Earned First Team Region 7-4A recognition as senior after accumulating 68 total tackles, three quarterback sacks and a fumble recovery… Ended prep career with 17 tackles for loss… Helped Cardinals to berth in 2006 4A state playoffs… Also saw limited action as blocking fullback in goal-line situations and at offensive tackle as senior… Also earned two varsity letters in track and field… Member of National Honors Society who earned academic all-region honors and received president[apos]s award.
