Put together best year of career that culminated with Horrocks sharing team[apos]s postseason Most Valuable Defensive Lineman Award with DE Curtis Gatewood… Started every game for the Commodores at tackle… Set single-season career highs in virtually every defensive statistical category… Concluded season by setting single-season career highs in solo tackles (31) and total tackles (49), both tops among Commodore DTs… Ranked third in the SEC with four forced fumbles… Also ranked among team leaders with five quarterback sacks and six tackles for loss… Showed remarkable consistency, contributing at least four tackles in 10 of 12 games… Earned team[apos]s Defensive Player of the Week honors after contributing three quarterback sacks and a forced fumble in superb performance in loss at Kentucky… Aided win over Temple with six tackles and two forced fumbles.
2005
Played in 10 of 11 games, missing the Georgia outing with a leg injury… Started the first six games and season-ending encounters against Kentucky and Tennessee… Played through painful injury to end season on high note… Led Commodore defensive tackles with 15 solo tackles… Concluded with single-season high in total tackles (21), tackles of loss (2) and quarterback hurries (3)… Best game of year came in season finale, with five tackles to aid Commodore win at Tennessee… Three-tackle performance in season-opening victory at Wake Forest earned team[apos]s Defensive Player of the Week honors… Also shared team defensive honors with four-tackle performance in win over Ole Miss.
2004
Played in nine games, starting twice late in the season at defensive end… Earned first collegiate start at LSU… Set single game high with six tackles against Florida… Had four tackles and one tackle for loss at Georgia… Garnered four solo tackles versus Tennessee.

Two-year starter on both sides of line for one of Middle Tennessee[apos]s finest teams… Started at defensive tackle and offensive guard as junior and senior… Also lettered as a sophomore… Two-time All-Region selection… Named co-winner of 5A Region 3 Defensive Player of the Year honors… Selected to the Nashville Tennessean[apos]s All-Midstate squad… Team went 12-1 during senior season, losing in 5A quarterfinals… Contributed 48 solo tackles, 18 tackles of loss, 12 quarterback sacks and one blocked punt as a senior… Named team[apos]s Defensive player of the Week five times in 2003… Postseason recipient of team[apos]s Defensive MVP Award.
