#51 Ryker Waite
INF
Ryker Waite Pronunciation
Head coach Tim Corbin on Waite: “Ryker brings nonstop energy to the game and truly only knows one speed. He was the youngest player on our team last year and showed maturity beyond his years in how he handled the season. Ryker trained behind Johnny Vastine all year, stayed patient, and chose to work harder rather than look elsewhere for opportunities. He has true middle-infield feet, glove, and arm, and has learned to play with greater tempo and rhythm. A switch hitter with strength in his bat, he has also improved his short game and baserunning. Ryker had a breakout summer in the Cape Cod League with championship-winning Bourne, where his competitiveness and toughness consistently stood out. He is dependable, and steady in his approach—you always know where he is and what he is going to give you. Ryker is also a very good student who takes pride in all areas of his development.”
