Joined the Commodore staff in August of 2014 after a very successful career on the Vanderbilt squad from 2010-2014, earning second-team SEC honors in 2012. Mira was named to the SEC Honor Roll all four years in the black and gold.
2012-13 (Junior): SEC Academic Honor Roll … SEC Player of the Week (1/30) … Finished her junior year with a 15-19 record in singles play and 17-15 record in doubles play … Selected to the NCAA Doubles Championship with partner Courtney Colton … The duo ended the year ranked 10th by the ITA … Finished the year ranked 63rd in singles play by the ITA … Knocked off No. 23 Courtney Collins of Memphis, 1-6, 6-3, 6-1 … Won her first four dual matches of the year, each in straight sets … Made it to the semi-finals of the USTA/ITA Regional Championships.
2011-12 (Sophomore): Helped lead the Commodores to the Second Round of the NCAA Tournament… Reached the Round of 16 at the 2012 NCAA Division I Women[apos]s Doubles Championship with partner Jackie Wu… Earned Second Team All-Confernce honors… Named to the 2012 SEC Academic Honor Roll… Finished the season with a team-best record of 28-11, including 8-3 in SEC play… Played at number two singles all season long, going 16-7… Defeated 12th-ranked Northwestern[apos]s Veronica Corning in straight sets, 6-4, 6-1… Took down No. 16-ranked Ole Miss[apos] Caroline Rohde-Moe twice during the season… Mira also partnered with Wu at number one singles for a majority of the year, going 15-5… The pair won seven of its last 10 matches… Finished her sophomore campaign ranked No. 94.
2010-11 (Freshman): Led the team with 26 victories this season while only dropping eight matches all year … Posted a 15-6 record in dual matches while playing anywhere from No. 2 to No. 5 … Clinched three matches for the Commodores this spring … Avenged an earlier loss and secured Vanderbilt[apos]s spot in the Sweet 16 with a straight-set win over Tennessee[apos]s Maria Sorbello at the No. 3 position… Went a combined 4-1 in the NCAA Tournament between singles and doubles … Went 11-2 in fall tournaments … Won nine consecutive matches to begin the tournament season … Advanced to the quarterfinals of the ITA Ohio Valley Regional … Lost in the finals of the June Stewart Invitational to teammate Jackie Wu in her final tournament of the fall.
Prep/Juniors: Earned four varsity letters in tennis … Voted MVP of team three years … Went 49-0 in singles during high school career … Ranked as the top player in Louisiana … Advanced to the Bullfrog USTA Southern Designated Tournament in 2009 … Voted Most Athletic in senior class… Helped her team to be 2007 State Champions and 2008 State Runner-up… Four-time singles State Champion… Four-time Baton Rouge All-Metro Team.
