Head coach Tim Corbin on Vastine: “Vasty is one the best pure athletes on our team. He is dynamic, can run, throw, has power in his body and is a twitchy mover. He could play anywhere in the middle of the field…he is a baseball player. Vasty took advantage of his summer in the Northwoods League and really developed in all areas of the game. He has made very good strides academically, which have carried over to the field. He has also changed his body in the weight room over this last year. I really like where he is headed as a player.”
