• Rated a top-50 player in Illinois by all four services
• Slotted the No. 19 quarterback in the signing class per Rivals
• Led Mount Carmel to the Illinois Class 7A state championship as a senior
• Set a Class 7A record with six touchdown passes in the state title game, totaling 292 passing yards while adding 115 rushing yards
• Went 62-for-94 for 1,110 yards and 21 touchdowns during five playoff games as a senior while adding 310 rushing yards and five touchdowns
• Threw for 3,148 yards and 34 touchdowns and ran for 940 yards and seven scores as a junior
• During the last three seasons, helped Mount Carmel to a combined record of 38-4 and three straight state championships
