Colin Barczi Pronunciation
Head coach Tim Corbin on Barczi: “Colin will be a central piece of our team, both behind the plate and in the middle of our offensive order. He had a highly productive fall, impacting the game in all areas and showing a clear understanding of what it takes to compete at a high level. He prepares his body with great intention, staying on campus this summer to focus on strength, fitness, and overall physical development. He has taken meaningful steps to become a more physical player and possesses all the attributes required to play the catcher position at the highest level. Offensively, his mechanics, bat speed, direction, and performance continue to trend upward. He consistently shows maturity in the classroom, off the field, and in his personal habits, and he had his best term academically, earning Dean’s List honors. He brings a steady, even disposition and is a low-maintenance young man who is well respected by his teammates.”
