Head coach Tim Corbin on Barczi: “After spending most of his time on the offensive side of the game last year, Colin will be a central figure behind the plate for us this year. He possesses all the physical tools that you would look for in a catcher. Colin became a very important piece of our lineup towards the end of last year. He put a lot of quality at bats together that he wasn’t always rewarded for in the stat sheet. Barz has a very even disposition for the game and is a very respected teammate. He has leadership attributes and is a Dean’s List Student.”
